Asiden costs $10, once, during early access. That is the whole price of the app. After that, local conversations are unlimited — no monthly fee, no account, no message cap, nothing counting down.
The optional subscriptions exist for one reason only: premium cloud models for chat and vision, when you want more than your own hardware can produce.
1. The app: $10, once
One payment, during early access, and Asiden is yours. It is a purchase, not a subscription and not a trial — it does not expire, degrade after a month, or stop working if you never spend another penny.
For that $10 you get the whole product running locally:
- Unlimited local conversations, offline if you like.
- All four signature companions — Mei, Lily, Jae and Sasha — plus ten further personality presets.
- The custom personality wizard, so you can write your own companion.
- Long-term memory, stored on your own drive.
- Screen vision running locally.
- No message limits and no ongoing cost.
The price is deliberately low because Asiden is early. Buying now means buying it at the early-access price.
2. Plus and Premium
Both subscriptions unlock the same thing: premium cloud models for chatting and vision, run through Asiden’s managed service instead of your graphics card. They differ in how much you get.

Both plans currently include a free one-time unlock key, so the $10 app comes with your subscription and stays yours even if you cancel later. You will receive two keys by email — your plan key and your unlock key — and you paste both into the app, one at a time.

Already subscribed? Do not buy a second time — a repeat purchase of the same plan bills you again without adding any Sparks. Change plans inside the app, under Settings → Plan & Usage.
Subscriptions are optional. Plenty of people will buy the app and never take one. You can start a plan from the buttons above, or buy and manage everything inside the app under Settings → Plan & Usage once you are installed. Current Spark allowances are shown at the pointof purchase.
3. What Sparks are
Sparks are the in-app currency that powers your companion when it uses premium cloud models. A premium chat reply or a cloud vision request draws on your Sparks; a local conversation does not, because nothing is leaving your machine to be paid for.
That is the whole logic of the pricing. You pay once for the app, and after that you are only ever paying for compute you chose to run somewhere other than your own PC.
Cancelling a subscription does not lock you out of your companion. The app is bought, local mode is still unlimited, and your memories are still on your drive — they were never anywhere else.
4. Which one you actually need
Just the app, if…
You have a reasonably capable Windows 11 gaming PC and you care most about conversations that never leave your machine. This is the intended Asiden experience, and $10 is the end of it.
Consider Plus if…
Your hardware is modest, or you want sharper replies and better vision than a locally-run model gives you, but you use those premium features in bursts rather than constantly.
Consider Premium if…
Premium cloud models are how you use Asiden day to day — long sessions, heavy vision use — and you would rather not think about the allowance.
You can buy the app and decide about a subscription later. Nothing about installing Asiden commits you to one.
5. Early access limits
Asiden is early-access software from a solo developer. The app itself is yours to buy and keep, with no limit on how many people can do that. Paid cloud plans are temporarily capped at 100 subscribers, and that cap will increase as we scale.
Local use is not capped and never has been.
6. Payments and refunds
The app is a one-off payment. Subscriptions are billed monthly and can be cancelled in the app. Your cancellation and refund rights, including your statutory rights as a consumer, are set out in the refunds section of the Terms of Use. Nothing on this page removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Is Asiden a subscription?
The app is not. It is $10 once during early access. Plus and Premium are optional monthly subscriptions for premium cloud models.
Do I need a subscription to use Asiden?
No. Local mode is the default, and it is unlimited once you own the app.
Do Sparks expire?
Allowance and expiry details are shown in the app when you choose a plan.
What happens to my companion if I cancel a subscription?
Nothing. You own the app, and your companion, its memories and your settings live on your PC. You simply return to local mode.
Will the $10 price go up after early access?
It is the early-access price. If it changes, this page will change with it — and what you have already bought stays bought.
